How to Break 80
Breaking 80 is a great accomplishment for the Amateur Golfer on a 18 hole championship golf course . The Key
to breaking 80 is consistent ball striking, course management, a positive attitude, control of your irons
from fairway to green, club distance control, understanding ball flight and making putts. Be sure you avoid the
blow-ups double or triple bogies. Focus "one shot at a time" and keep your ball in play.. and most importantly
relax and enjoy the walk.

A FEW GRIFFIN GOLF TIPS
1) Think Safety on the golf course
at all times - watch out for errant balls, don't drink alcohol in excess and drive a golf cart.
2) DO NOT THROW
your Clubs in Frustration
3) DON'T CUSS instead say "oh Shucks" or "Holy Cow" if you mess up
4) Compliment your opponent’s nice shots - do not say anything when they mess up.
5) Follow etiquette
- farthest from hole always goes first, stand away, behind ball flight when fellow players are playing their shot, do
not hit a ball when other players are walking ahead of you or are in dangers way of getting hit in the back of the head by
your next shot.
6) Do not move or talk when other players are hitting and never stand directly behind players
on the tee box or fairway or in the their line on the green making funny gestures
7) Mark your ball on the green
and wait for your turn. If your opponent wishes to putt out/finish let them do so before removing your marker for your ball
and addressing your putt.
8) Object of the game is to get the little white ball in the hole in as few strokes
as possible - remember that on every hole.
9) Focus
10) Line up the club face to target
