At Griffin Golf we provide helpful insight into areas of your golf grip, stance, posture and swing from takeaway to finish  that may need a fix. Each of our Students receives a Griffin Golf  Student Profile which provides our students with stats on their rounds,  helpful tips and golf resources  covering every area of golf that our students are interested in.  Our Lessons will  help  improve your  enjoyment of the  game and lower your scores. We  will evaluate your  clubs, grip,  length, shafts and correct lie angles based on your individual swing speed and club lie at impact. Griffin Golf Private Lessons:  We offer a relaxed, comfortable,  personalized approach to help our students achieve  improvements in  all or specific areas  of their game in lesson increments designed to fit their busy schedule.  (usually 1/2 hour to 1 hour sessions). Griffin Golf Group Lessons:  Are designed to achieve common goals for several players of  like abilities. Our main  focus with group lessons is usually is in specific areas of  which golfers need improvement such as Better  Sand Trap Play, Short Game Tips, Putting  Tips, Accurate  Driving,  Ball Flight Basics, Chipping &  Pitching  and the proper Mental Attitude for Better Play   Griffin Golf Playing Lessons: Designed to enhance our student's understanding of the Griffin Golf philosophy of "One shot at time" and applying that philosophy on the course to lower scores.   Areas covered during our playing lessons  include pace of play,  rules,  etiquette, course management,  club slection, shot making,  driving, hybrid,  mid iron and short game tips and how to have fun evey round. "	Let Griff help you play better golf "one shot at a time" Griff's Golf Lesson  Tip "one shot at a time"  Playing Lesson Teacher - "JB" Griffin United State Golf Teacher Federation Level 1 Member Golf is an 18 hole sport where every shot you take will determine your final score.  For best results during a round a golf a golfer should  only focus on  "one shot at time" and put every effort in to making every shot the best shot it can be to compete against old man Par which is what this lesson is all about.  Whether you are tapping in a 2 foot par or  have just launched a  290 yd drive off the 1st tee every stroke is counted as one and golfers need to stay  focused and remain calm, relaxed and focused  throughout the round for best results.   How many times have you played a round a golf and lost your composure, focus after a poor shot that for instance landed in the water or behind a tree.  Without the "one shot at a time" mentality many golfers will follow up missed shots with additional  missed shots mainly due to their frustration from the missed shot they previously hit.   What we want to do in our playing lesson is put all missed shots behind us and refocus the golfer on the shot at hand. For example  you hit a nice  293 yd drive on a par 4  423 yard hole that leaves you 120 yds from the  front of the green in the center of the fairway. On your approach 2nd shot the ball hooks left and the ball lands right behind a tree 15 yards off the green.  You are upset and cursing yourself as you walk up and get madder when you see you have stymied your 3rd shot due to being behind  the tree. You are livid to say the least. Without much thought you do not think about your 3rd  shot much since you are still cursing yourself while you address the ball. You have a few options on this shot which you have not taken the time to think through. Option 1 - We suggest  is to hit the ball back into the fairway  since you can do that  with a 7 iron or pitching wedge with a half swing. That would be the  safe shot to be laying 3 with an open shot to possibly get up and down for a bogie or who knows you might chip in for a par save.   Option 2 -  We do not suggest.   You are still mad as heck  and you see that you might have a shot to the green if you somehow draw the ball around the tree  and makeup for that lousy second shot that has you very upset. You pull out your pitching wedge and line up for a draw around the tree with negative thoughts racing through your mind. Bam you strike the ball. Whack the ball hits the tree comes right back at you hitting you in the leg and lands in the same spot. Whoops that's a   penalty  of one stroke plus the missed shot you just made . You are  now laying 4  hitting your 5th shot. YIKES ... now  you will be lucky to escape with a triple bogie on this hole !!!!!! You are now steamed   Get the Picture - Remember "one shot at a time"  to avoid these blowups ... The Objective of our playing lesson is to walk a round with our students to teach the "one shot at a time" philosophy and pinpoint situations in the round where missed shots are not followed up by further misses ''
